Meeting new standards

The Stanislaus County Office of Education needed an upgrade to the interiors of its main offices. In addition to making improvements to each department, we consolidated all the meeting rooms previously scattered among the divisions into one seven-room conference center for trainings, meetings, and seminars. Working closely with each department, we established their specific design and workspace requirements and developed a detailed phasing plan that moved employees around during construction with minimal disruption to operations. The new space is brighter and more inviting, with new lighting and finishes, new mechanical systems, and a new formal entry and receptionist for each department. Daily work life has improved with fewer people passing through workspaces to reach conference rooms. It’s a win for employees, teachers, and the public.
