The Mojave, CA hangars became the first LEED-certified flight hangars in the United States, setting a precedent for sustainable aerospace facilities. TETER designed two hangars at the Mojave Air and Space Port for an aerospace development company: one for aircraft fabrication and the other for aircraft assembly. This space flight center also accommodates the manufacturing and testing of aircraft as well as astronaut training, underscoring its role as a pioneer in private spaceflight infrastructure.
