PG&E – LEMOORE SERVICE CENTER
Refining the details
When PG&E needed to relocate and increase the size of their Lemoore Service Center, the devil was, as usual, in the details. Working closely with the contractor and PG&E’s various departments, we helped them find a suitable site, worked with the seller to parcel off the right piece of land, designed the pre-engineered building to be the best it could be, figured out site circulation for their huge service trucks (a bigger issue than you might think), and created a compromise between client and city on design issues. The result is a comfortable, up-to-date office space; a parking lot with shade structures housing solar cells; hazardous materials buildings; and safe circulation for vehicles of all sizes. Did we mention the building also achieved LEED Silver?
