This new office building not only provides employees with a fantastic place to work, it does it sustainably. One of the first LEED-certified buildings in the Bakersfield area, it was 30% more water-efficient than a baseline building of the time, and 34% more energy-efficient than California code. In addition, we diverted about 75% of the construction waste away from landfills, used over 10% recycled building materials by cost, and used more than 10% regional building materials. Almost makes math fun.
