The City of Corcoran’s police department came to us with a design for a new headquarters that they had commissioned but was out of their budget. We adapted the design to a modular building system and delivered a facility with all the state-of-the-art elements they needed for a price that worked within their budget. They now have increased office and report-writing space, a briefing training room, an evidence storage space, exercise and locker rooms, and an emergency operations center that doubles as a community room for the public. In addition, their first vehicular sally port and secure parking have upped the security quotient, and their detention facility meets all the current state standards. With their essential services covered and a more secure working environment created—all within a tight budget—other police departments around the state are starting to take notice.
