Mountain View TK–8 brings transitional kindergarten through eighth grade together in a cohesive campus organized around interconnected mini-campuses and a central student plaza. A hybrid approach combining site-built facilities with permanent modular construction helped meet the District’s schedule and budget goals while maintaining a consistent architectural character across the site. Flexible classrooms, teaching gardens, shaded outdoor gathering areas, and shared learning spaces extend instruction beyond the classroom, while the grade 7–8 wing provides older students with greater independence within the unified campus.
