Engineering Management: Variable Control Beyond the Classroom
Jonathan Schlundt (Partner and Mechanical Engineer) and Hannah Brigdon (Mechanical Engineer) present virtually to junior- and senior-year engineering students from California State University, Fresno.
Hannah and Jon provided an industry perspective of Project Management Fundamentals and professional “real world” insight of what to expect in an entry level engineering position.
Their main topics included: Leading a Project Team, Quality, Project Budgets, and Scoping a Project.

Fresno State prepared me for a career beyond what I could have hoped for – one that challenges and grows me every single day – so giving back some of the knowledge I’ve gained to the students at the Lyles College of Engineering is how I can pay it forward and encourage each student to persevere and be a lifelong learner. I remember being a student at Fresno State and attending lectures and seminars just like the one we are giving now. It is wild to now be the one presenting!”
