OROSI HIGH SCHOOL NEW SCIENCE BUILDING

Elevating the sciences, quickly
Orosi High School’s science building was keeping 21st-century students in the 20th century with outdated technology, classrooms that were too small, and a building that was not doing well. We designed a permanent modular building that created large, beautiful labs with modern technology and flexible classrooms. With fixed cabinetry on the exterior and movable lab tables and desks on the interior of the rooms, teachers can create large open spaces for almost any type of experiment. Pull-down electrical cords free classwork from the tyranny of fixed outlets and extension cords. Outside, the design blends with the historical architecture of the school while setting a future vision for the campus. The most amazing part? This whole 15,000-sf building came together in six months and was ready for the first day of school.
