The expanding Career Technical Education program at Madera Community College Center was the driving force behind the new Center for Agriculture and Technology. The facility features shops and an outdoor covered work area that provide ample space for large equipment, facilitating hands-on learning. A dry lab, staff offices, and expandable lecture space complement the shops with more traditional learning environments. This project also addresses the District’s desire to enhance the social and communal benefits of the college experience by incorporating a shaded plaza that encourages student interaction outside the classroom.
